‘Dinner with a difference Cookery Book’

“Dinner with a difference Cookery Book”

This Cookery Book is wonderful for those who, like myself, have swallowing difficulties due to surgery.

I found it very easy to follow, and the pictures are great as the food looks really appetising, after all, we eat with our eyes!

Page 10 has a wonderful smoothie, delicious, and although the recipe is for two, I found no problem eating another for lunch!

As a haggis lover I couldn’t wait to try the recipe on page 13 and although I have never drunk whisky, I loved the whisky sauce recipe on page 33, good with steaks as well!

The recipe on page 42 for the Christmas Cake ice cream was delicious and can be kept in the freezer – so not only for Christmas time!

The section on moulds from page 58 is especially useful showing how the shape of food from the moulds can make the food look so “normal” a great way to eat with family & friends without being the odd one out, eating pureed food that can’t be recognised, and looks like baby food.

Bring on the second edition!
